A lift gate is an additional shipping service that allows heavy items to be lowered to the ground from the semi-trailer. If you have two people on site that can manually remove a pallet weighing 100 to possibly 200 lbs. you may not need this service. If you have a forklift/bobcat you would not need this service. If you do not have lifting equipment or manpower, you will need to order a lift gate.
